The Vessel Database

IDEA VIO makes it easy to draw up a database of the yacht's equipment and inventory. The layout of the database is similar to Windows Explorer (c), a programm many people are familiar with:

The philosophy of the system is to keep related information together. For this purpose each group contains three sections:

This means that all information regarding one group or system:

  - The technical information regarding (specification, details of manufacturer and supplier, maintenance plan,
     service history, engineer's remarks, etc.)

  - Inventory and spare parts onboard

  - Documentation (manuals, drawings, schematics, correspondence, etc.)

  - Photos

The VIO software helps to efficiently organize all technical and nautical documentation such as:
