Inventory Management
IDEA VIO's inventory management system enables you to:
- quickly find the item you need
- create purchase orders manually or automatic by pre-defined stock levels
- order using e-mail or fax
- print a list of spare parts for a particular device
- print a list of equipment on board (e.g. by storage area)
Optionally tracking the inventory can be facilitated even more by using bar-coded labels for all parts, spares and consumables.
The labels are printed from a dedicated label-printer and portable data collection terminals with integrated bar-code scanner are used to:
- check in inventory items (purchase)
- check out inventory items (consume)
- perform an active inventory
- check inventory item data instantly by scanning the label
The data collection terminals (Windows OS) smoothly synchronise with IDEA VIO via docking station.
